Fun festive baking! I’ve been eating a whole batch of these Mince Pie Stars ever since I had made them! This is my favourite recipe, as these stars are a fun twist on the classic bake. 

So easy to make and they are flaky, buttery and all so tasty!



MINCE PIE STARS
Prep time: 20-25 mins
Cook time: 20 mins
Serves: 8-10
Makes 20 stars

Ingredients:
A roll of puff pastry
100g mince pie filling
10g dried cranberries 
1 lemon, zested
1 orange, zested
1 tbsp demerara sugar 
A beaten egg

Method:
Preheat oven to 190C / 170 Fan oven. Cut out 40 stars.

Spoon 1/2 tsp of mince pie filling onto  pastry. Brush the tips of the stars with egg wash & place another star on top. Brush gently with beaten egg & sprinkle with sugar.

Bake for 20 mins, until golden brown in colour. Set aside to cool.
